The location was marvellous, not far from the restaurant, city center and Nuevo Arenal. Booked a room with amazing views of the lake and surounding mountains.

Occasionally, some noise from outside the rooms can be heard, but the staff promptly addresses any disturbances.

I recently stayed at this charming hotel for a week-long vacation. The views were truly priceless! Every morning, I woke up to breathtaking sunrises and stunning vistas of the lake and countryside. The fresh mountain air and abundant wildlife, including colorful birds and hummingbirds, made for a truly memorable experience. The breakfast, with its delicious and freshly made Costa Rican dishes, was a delightful way to start the day. The host, Milton, and his son Edwin, were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, offering helpful tips and arranging exciting activities. It was a delightful experience!

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing us with great tips to save money and make the most of our stay. The restaurant had delicious food at reasonable prices, and they even had a great selection of souvenirs for purchase.

The value for our money at this hotel was fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable with a stunning view over the lake. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful nature and birdlife. The staff treated us like family, always friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Milton and Edwin for their warm hospitality.

The morning meal would have been better with a thicker blanket for the cooler weather.

Felt cared for, nothing was too much trouble

We had the most amazing stay at this lakeside hotel. The location was idyllic, with breathtaking views of Lake Arenal and the surrounding mountains. The owners, Milton and Edwin, were fantastic hosts and made us feel incredibly welcome. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and provided helpful information about local attractions. The food in the restaurant was delicious and they even accommodated my vegan dietary requests. We can't wait to visit Arenal Volcano Lake again.

For the price we paid, we got great value. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely patio with a swing. The location was beautiful, with a view of the lake and lots of colorful birds in the morning. The staff, especially the owner and his sons, were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely hillside hotel. The location on the north shore of Lake Arenal offered breathtaking views directly from our room. Edwin and his family provided exceptional service and were extremely helpful with information on hikes and local attractions. The breakfast was delicious and the room had a private veranda, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view.

We did find the bed to be slightly uncomfortable.
